European Technical Business Development Manager description:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a fiber optics market-orientated company, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. To align with our expansion plan, we are looking for an experienced and energetic business development manager to join our office in Sofia.

European Technical Business Development Manager responsabilities:

Exploring new business opportunities within broadcast, military tactical, mining and oil and gas and industrial applications and find potential customers.
Acting as the main interface between the customers and the company on commercial and technical matters.
Managing the existing relationship with current customers and partners.
Proactively selling various products and offered by the company to carriers, fiber optics tactical cables and components, fiber optics assemblies, inspection and cleaning tools/accessories, distribution of electrical and fiber optic connectors and systems for harsh environments
Day-to-day communication with customers and being ready to visit customers in other countries on a regular basis.
Preparing quotations, tenders documentation – RFQ, RFP, proposals and solutions to customers.
Managing the whole sales lifecycle and liaising with teams internally to assure customer satisfaction.

European Technical Business Development Manager requirements:

Proven experience and achievements, min 5 years in a sales or technical related position in fiber optic manufacturing/sales and/or Mil-Aero sales/engineering
Minimum 3+ years Project Management experience delivering complex and technical customer projects especially within industrial and defense markets
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
A high level of personal motivation and enthusiasm.
Ability to work within a team as well as individually and Customer focused.
Quick learner, hard worker, good commercial and technical awareness.
Fluent in English and the local language, German or Spanish will be definitely a plus.
Bachelor or above degree in telecommunication, engineering or business.
